Behavioural Intent Attestation · United Kingdom

Proof that a human was there — and meant it.

Every credential can be stolen, phished or replayed. Behaviour is the one credential that cannot be handed over. Animus binds the way a person moves, hesitates and reads to the exact content on their screen — and returns a signed, independently verifiable attestation that a live human was present, understood, and acted freely.

Patent filed — error-tolerant cryptographic binding of a behavioural signature to a commitment of displayed content

01 · The Four Assertions

Authentication asks who. Animus asks whether they meant it.

At the moment of a consequential action, the platform captures interaction telemetry passively — no extra step, no camera — and returns four signed assertions to the relying party.

ASSERTION / 01

Human presence

A live human produced this interaction — not a replayed session, an injected event stream, or a remote-access tool driving the device.

ASSERTION / 02

Intent binding

The behavioural signature is cryptographically bound to the exact payee and amount rendered on screen. An approval of £40 can never be replayed against £4,000.

ASSERTION / 03

Deliberation

The decision was considered, not reflexive — dwell on the amount, scroll through terms, re-reads, hesitation before commitment. Evidence that a human understood.

ASSERTION / 04

Freedom of action

The pattern is consistent with free action — or diverges from this person's own baseline in a way consistent with coaching or duress. Deviation measured, never emotion inferred.

02 · The Mechanism

A deterministic key from a human signal that never repeats.

Behaviour varies between every instance — the same person confirming the same payment twice produces different telemetry. The filed UK patent covers the error-tolerant construction that absorbs that variance before the cryptography, so a variable human signal can drive a verifiable commitment.

T+0ms

Passive capture

Timing, motion, correction behaviour and dwell are sampled during the decision interval — on the user's own device. No added step. No camera. Raw telemetry never leaves the handset.

T+40ms

Error-tolerant key reproduction

Helper data absorbs natural variance: within the enrolled tolerance the stable key reproduces exactly; outside it, no key. Templates are revocable — behaviour can be re-enrolled the way a password is reset, which no other vendor claims.

T+80ms

Content commitment

The payee, the amount and the scope are taken from the rendered display — what the user actually saw, not what the app believed it showed — serialised and hashed. Overlay attacks break verification.

T+120ms

Bind · sign · attest

Key and commitment combine into a bound value inside a signed artefact carrying the four assertions. The key is erased. The record is portable, auditable, and permanent.

ANY TIME

Third-party verification

A receiving bank, insurer, ombudsman or court verifies the artefact without trusting the issuer — and without ever seeing behavioural data. Evidence that leaves the building.

IP

UK patent filed

Error-tolerant cryptographic binding of a behavioural biometric signature to a commitment of displayed content — 20 claims, supported by a completed novelty search.

MARKET

112-person UK survey

Market need confirmed through a structured survey of 112 UK-based respondents, alongside two secured Expressions of Interest from UK institutions.

PRODUCT

MVP built · pilot run

A working prototype has been developed and a small pilot conducted in the United Kingdom — the mechanism runs on real journeys, not slides.

TIMING

Regulation moved first

Since October 2024 UK firms reimburse APP scam victims by mandate. The loss has a budget line, an owner, and no control that can see it. Until now.
